Donor Support Programs
Transplant Ambassador Program (TAP)
The Transplant Ambassador Program is a group of volunteers that have either donated or received a kidney and welcome the opportunity to share their personal experiences with you. You can even request to speak with a living kidney donor who is of similar age to you. Transplant Ambassadors are real people to whom potential donors can reach out to directly. This may be helpful as real-life experiences of a donor may inform you in different ways than the living kidney donor program. It is entirely patient-centred and patient-led by dedicated volunteers. You can reach out to the program directly or we would be happy to put in a referral for you.
